Our story · From addiction to purpose

What Addiction
Destroyed,
Recovery Rebuilt.

A house was rebuilt. Lives were rebuilt. Now this house exists to help others rebuild theirs.

Behind Escape Addictions are three brothers, a family home, and the patient work of recovery. This is a story of what became possible when two brothers found sobriety and returned, with friends in recovery, to begin again.

Destruction → Recovery → Rebuilding → Hope

A home with
something to tell you.

01 / The destruction

A family home.
A painful chapter.

Three brothers were affected by addiction in different ways. During the darkest period of active addiction, one brother set fire to the home. The house was severely damaged.

02 / The aftermath

The damage went
beyond the walls.

A family was left to pick up the pieces. What had held years of family memories now needed to be rebuilt. It could have been the end of the story.

But it wasn’t.

03 / Recovery

Recovery had
other plans.

Two of the brothers found sobriety. With that came the possibility of returning to the house with a different purpose—and a different way of living.

04 / The rebuild

Built with patience.
Rebuilt together.

Together with friends in recovery, the brothers came back and physically rebuilt the home. The work asked for patience, care, and the willingness to keep showing up.

Recovery isn’t built overnight. Neither was this house.

One brick at a time.
One step at a time.
One day at a time.

A home restored

05 / A new purpose

A house restored.
A welcome renewed.

The same home that once witnessed the destruction of addiction now has a different purpose: a place where other people can begin rebuilding their lives. A place for healing, connection, and hope.

06 / Escape

What addiction destroys
does not have to
stay destroyed.

Neither do our lives.

Welcome to a place where hope is rebuilt.
