The wellness experience
Healing Beyond
the Symptoms
Recovery involves more than stopping substance use. It can also mean rebuilding sleep, nourishment, relationships, daily routines, and a sense of purpose.
At Escape Addictions, holistic care means paying attention to these connected parts of your life.
Wellness experiences support your treatment by offering opportunities for movement, relaxation, reflection, and connection.
01Sauna — A Moment to Exhale
Recovery takes energy. Give yourself a moment to slow down. Sauna warmth can help you unwind, ease feelings of tension, and leave you feeling more relaxed. Heat also temporarily increases circulation as your body works to cool itself.
At Escape Addictions, sauna is a complement to your care, available when your medical team determines it’s appropriate. A quiet space to breathe, pause, and reconnect with yourself.
02Jacuzzi — Ease Into Calm
Let the warm water help you slow down. A jacuzzi soak can soothe tight muscles, temporarily ease aches and stiffness, and give you a peaceful moment to unwind.
At Escape Addictions, it’s one more way to care for yourself during recovery, with your medical team’s approval and guidance. Breathe, settle in, and make room for rest.
03Cold Plunge — Refresh Your Senses
Sometimes, a brief change in temperature can help you feel more awake and refreshed. Cold-water immersion may temporarily boost alertness and ease muscle soreness after exercise, though research on broader wellness benefits is still developing.
At Escape Addictions, cold plunging is optional, medically approved, and supervised. It’s an opportunity to practice staying present, listening to your body, and respecting your limits.
04Sound Bath — Make Space for Calm
You don’t have to quiet your mind perfectly. Just get comfortable and listen. A sound bath surrounds you with soothing tones from instruments such as singing bowls and chimes, giving your attention a gentle place to rest.
Early research suggests sound meditation may help ease tension and encourage relaxation. At Escape Addictions, it’s a peaceful complement to your recovery—a moment to pause, be present, and reconnect with yourself.
